Societatea de Investitii Financiare Transilvania S.A. (SIF Transilvania) is a self-managed closed-end financial investment company, included in the category "Other collective investment undertakings (A.O.P.C.), with a diversified investment policy".

  The Company's share capital worth RON 109,214,333.20 is composed of 1,092,143,332 common shares issued at par value of RON 0.1/share. The shares are listed at the first category of the Bucharest Stock Exchange and have been traded on this market since November 1, 1999 under SIF3 symbol.

  SIF Transilvania holds and manages an investment portfolio consisting mainly of stocks held in both listed and not listed companies The corporate assets worth RON 1,460 million (about EUR 335 million) while the net assets amount to RON 1,4180 million (calculated on 31 March 2012, in accordance to the C.N.V.M. Regulation no. 15/2004).

  The records of SIF Transilvania shareholders and the shares owned by them are kept by the central depository company - S.C. Depozitarul Central S.A. Bucuresti. The custody and depository services related to the financial instruments held by SIF.Transilvania are provided by ING BANK NV Amsterdam- Bucuresti Branch. The financial statements of the company are audited by the external auditor PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit S.R.L. Bucuresti and the internal audit service is provided by S.C. Moonlight S.R.L. Brasov.

  SIF Transilvania is a full member of the European Venture Capital Association (EVCA) with headquarters in Bruxelles, the Romanian Association of Asset Managers (A.A.F.) as well as of the Brasov Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
